BETWEEN TWO SKIES
The final movement is not about finding an answer. It is about learning to live without one. One part of life remains there. Another has begun to grow roots here. The wooden flute first heard in Home returns. The sound is familiar, but the person listening to it is no longer the same. The final expected note is never played. Because the future is still unwritten.
The final movement does not choose one sky over the other. The wooden flute, inspired by the Ukrainian sopilka and first heard in HOME, returns as a thread of memory rather than a call to go backwards. The expected final note is withheld, leaving the ending open: a life can take root in a new place while part of the heart still remains beneath another sky.
