What is Between Two Skies?
A contemporary dance-theatre suite in seven movements about home, rupture, displacement, rebuilding and belonging.
Is the work autobiographical?
It grew from the creator’s family experience of leaving Ukraine and rebuilding life in Toronto, while aiming to speak to the wider emotional experience of migration and displacement.
Why are the movement titles in English?
They are the official artistic titles of the seven movements and remain unchanged across language versions of the website.
What does NOWHERE → NOW HERE mean?
One inserted space transforms “nowhere” into “now here.” It represents the difference between being without a place and beginning to inhabit the present.
Was AI used?
Yes. Generative tools were used within a human-led creative and music-production process. The concept, structure, motifs and artistic direction were developed by Volodymyr Kravchuk.
Can the work be staged live?
Yes. The project is open to conversations about full productions, excerpts, dance films and commissioned adaptations.

Can one movement be performed separately?
Potentially, yes. Individual movements can be discussed as standalone choreographic or presentation pieces.
